Job Description
Position Overview The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned geographic territory for the company's manufactured janitorial and facility matting products. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with distributor partners, end users, and manufacturer representative groups while executing sales strategies that drive profitable growth. The position requires a self‑motivated sales professional with proven B2B experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage all sales activity within an assigned territory to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Develop, support, and maintain productive relationships with manufacturer representative groups, distributors, and end users. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer and distributor relationships. Provide product knowledge, training, and sales support related to manufactured janitorial and facility products. Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations to support customer needs and ensure effective order execution. Prepare and deliver product presentations, sales meetings, and training sessions for reps, distributors, and customers. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer records within the CRM system. Participate in trade shows, ride‑along sales calls, and customer visits as needed. Qualifications and Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience . Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within manufacturing, janitorial, or facility‑focused products. Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a sales territory while meeting revenue objectives. Experience working with distributor networks and manufacturer representative organizations. Strong relationship‑building, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Proficiency using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required. Additional Information Competitive salary with bonus opportunities.
