Job Description
SUMMARY The US Commercial Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across commercial markets in the US by developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and executing strategic sales plans. This role requires a consultative sales approach, deep product knowledge, and the ability to manage long sales cycles while building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
This position serves as a key liaison between customers, partners, and internal teams, ensuring alignment on customer needs, product solutions, and business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Business Development & Sales Execution- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within assigned commercial markets in the US.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with company objectives.
- Manage long sales cycles from prospecting through closing.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions. Customer & Market Engagement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry professionals.
- Identify market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to inform strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers and internal teams.
- Travel as required (up to 50-70%) to support customer engagement and business growth. Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering and internal teams to develop solutions and proposals.
- Review customer specifications, RFQs, and requirements to generate accurate quotations.
- Support product demonstrations and technical discussions with customers. Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of accounts, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM systems.
- Provide routine reporting on sales performance, pipeline health, and market activity.
- Track and prioritize opportunities based on ROI and strategic value.
