As part of our team, you'll represent a venue that clients love and planners trust. About the Role We're seeking a talented Sales Manager to grow our event portfolio and elevate the client experience at Dominion Gardens & Hotel. You'll guide clients through every step of the event journey—from first inquiry to final celebration—while building strong relationships within the event and hospitality community. This sought-after property hosts high-end weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, and is known for delivering exceptional client experiences with a strong reputation for quality, service, and attention to detail. Full-Time Schedule:
Evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Saturdays are required as that is when most wedding couples want to do tours. Wed and Sun are off days generally.
Compensation:
Competitive base + uncapped commission What You'll Do Lead the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through event completion. Conduct engaging venue tours and convert qualified leads into booked events. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, planners, vendors, and corporate partners. Develop customized proposals, contracts, and upsell opportunities. Manage and grow an active sales pipeline. Utilize event management and CRM software to track leads, proposals, bookings, and client communications. Create professional presentations, marketing materials, and event collateral as needed. Participate in networking events, industry associations, and business development activities. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution. Contribute ideas to enhance visibility, sales strategy, client experience, and overall venue performance. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, venue sales, or a related field . Proven ability to close on-premise events, weddings, corporate events, or luxury event business. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with excellent follow-up, time management, and attention to detail. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven. Professional presence and ability to represent a premium brand. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Reliable transportation. Technical Skills The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of proficiency with: Caterease or similar event management software Cvent or comparable venue sourcing and event management platforms Canva for creating presentations, proposals, marketing materials, and social media content Google Workspace , including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, and Meet CRM platforms and lead management systems Preferred Qualifications Experience working with luxury clientele or premium event venues. Established relationships within the wedding, corporate event, hospitality, or tourism industries. Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
