Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, proactive inside sales professional to specialize in showers or replacement glass and windows. This is a position with growth potential for the right candidate who can take the job seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of success in a team-based construction environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop quotes and place orders Present product details and options to contractors and homeowners Verify order acknowledgements received from manufacturers (check details such as sizes, colors, quantities) Monitor order status Schedule field work (measures and installations) Coordinate job execution from start to finish, including staging products for installation, following up to ensure timely job completion, and resolving any issues Collect payments upon job completion
Secondary Responsibilities:
Help to answer incoming phone calls and assist walk-in customers as needed Run/maintain front counter as needed Coordinate closely with field installers on job details Occasional Receiving Compensation and Benefits Base salary dependent upon experience Profit sharing based upon volume of orders processed, accuracy of work performed, and company profitability Medical, dental, and vision benefits available first of month following 60 days of employment One week of sick leave/vacation after first year, 2 weeks annually until year 10, with three weeks thereafter Simple-IRA after two years with company Experience and Personal Characteristics Prior experience in sales or project management within the building industry is required. Background in the trades is preferred. Self-starter who takes initiative and works to prevent and solve problems while working cooperatively with colleagues Detail-oriented and highly organized Strong basic math skills, able to take accurate measurements Strongly oriented towards providing a very high level of customer service. Comfortable in negotiations and flexible in adapting to unexpected developments. Computer-literate, with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

$24.00 - $32.00 per hour
