Job Description

Overview Sporting Cascades FC is a new professional soccer club in Eugene, Oregon, heading into our first USL League One season. We're building it from the ground up — the team on the pitch, the club around it, and what a matchday feels like here in the Southern Willamette Valley. We're looking for ambitious, hard-working people who want to help shape a club from day one. Role Summary The Partnerships Manager keeps the club's sponsor relationships running day to day — activating deals and making sure everything a partner was promised actually happens. You'll be the main contact for your accounts: the person partners trust to get things done, and the reason they renew. You'll also help the VP of Partnerships chase new business, putting together proposals and pitches. Key Responsibilities Activation & Fulfillment Own the activation and fulfillment of your assigned partnerships, start to finish — make sure everything a partner was promised actually happens. Coordinate in-stadium signage, digital assets, broadcast integrations, and experiential activations with internal teams and vendors. Keep each partner account on budget. Keep clean records of deliverables, timelines, and communications in the CRM. Relationship Management Be the day-to-day contact for your partners, and the person they trust to get things done. Learn each partner's business inside out — what they sell, who they're after, and what success looks like to them.
Run the regular touch-points:
check-ins, on-site meetings, recap presentations, and strategy sessions. Reporting & ROI Build the event, mid-season, and end-of-year recaps that show partners what they got for their money. Track how assets actually performed — impressions, engagement, attendance, digital metrics — and put those numbers in front of partners and leadership. Spot upsell and cross-sell openings and bring them to the VP of Partnerships. Sales Support Help win new business with prospect research, proposals, and pitch prep. Feed back what you're hearing in the market to help shape packages and pricing. Help keep the sales pipeline and CRM current. Cross-Functional & Game Day Work with Marketing, Ticketing, Operations, and Creative to deliver on partner commitments across every channel. Run partner activations, VIP experiences, and promotions on matchdays — setup to teardown. Represent the club out in the community: partner events, community appearances, special events, and youth clinics. Be available evenings, weekends, and holidays for matches and events. Qualifications, Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field — or equivalent experience. 2-4 years in sponsorship activation, partnership management, or sales; sports industry experience preferred. A working knowledge of how sponsorship sales and activation actually get done. Highly organized, able to juggle several accounts and projects at once without dropping any. Strong writer and presenter, comfortable building recap decks and standing up in front of partners. Comfortable in a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and with everyday office software — word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Creative and adaptable, with a team-first, get-it-done work ethic. Genuinely excited about the club's mission and core values, and about helping build it from the ground up. Soccer knowledge preferred; Spanish a plus. Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays around matches and events, and able to lift 20+ lbs and stay on your feet during matchday setup and activations. Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
