Our ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Sales Manager. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager who can help lead our sales team, improve performance, support our culture, and represent the Weston name the right way. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the car business, understands deal structure, can coach salespeople, and wants to be part of a stable, family-owned organization with deep roots in community. Position Summary The Sales Manager will help oversee the daily sales operation, including desking deals, coaching sales consultants, managing customer interactions, supporting inventory strategy, reviewing CRM activity, and helping drive sales and gross profit. We are looking for someone who is competitive, professional, accountable, and team-oriented. The right candidate will know how to push for results without sacrificing customer experience or dealership reputation.
Automotive Sales Manager Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of automotive sales management experience is required Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive sales role / automotive industry Strong understanding of dealership sales processes, desking, inventory, trade appraisals, CRM, and finance flow. Ability to lead and motivate a sales team. Strong communication and customer service skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Ability to handle pressure and make good decisions quickly. Comfortable coaching, training, and holding people accountable. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. We Are Looking for Someone Who Is Honest and professional. Calm under pressure. Strong with both customers and employees. Process-driven and detail-oriented. A good communicator. Willing to lead by example. Focused on long-term success, not short-term shortcuts.
Automotive Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, train, and support the sales team. Desk new and used vehicle deals. Help structure deals in a way that balances customer satisfaction, profitability, lender requirements, and compliance. Work with sales consultants to improve closing, follow-up, product knowledge, and professionalism. Monitor CRM usage, lead follow-up, appointments, sold units, gross profit, and customer satisfaction. Assist with trade appraisals, inventory review, pricing, and merchandising. Help maintain a positive, accountable, team-focused sales culture. Work closely with Finance, Service, Parts, Accounting, and the General Manager. Help resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally. Support dealership goals for volume, gross profit, CSI, reputation, and long-term customer retention. Make sure sales processes, paperwork, advertising, pricing, and customer communication are handled accurately and ethically. Why Work at Weston?
