Job Description Summary Position Objective:
The Regional Sales Manager coaches and develops sales representatives in order to drive revenue within the region, including the design and delivery of sales training, sales rep ride-a-longs and follow up, as well as the management of specific assigned accounts or initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls
Meet planned sales goals and increase revenue within the region
Set individual sales targets with the sales team
Track sales goals and report results to the appropriate stakeholders
Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team
Coordinate with marketing on lead generation
Monitor competition relevant to area of responsibility for new opportunities or trends in the market, develop action plans for growth or change in response to these trends
Implement Sales Training Programs for all Outside Sales Representatives and reinforce the training trough branch visits and Sales Rep ride-a-longs
Motivate, coach and mentor the sales team
Manage and develop specific key or assigned accounts within the region
Promote organization and products
Manage specific projects on an as needed basis to drive revenue and maximize return on investment
Identify and develop opportunities with specific customers or market segments within the region to drive revenue and maximize return on investment
Develop sales presentations and coach OSRs on effective presentation skills
Travel to various job sites to conduct site inspections, sales presentations, and meet with our customer base
Comply with all company safety requirements and train the Outside Sales Representatives on safety procedures
Perform other duties as requested
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience plus at least 8 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years leading a sales team
Experience in customer relationship management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dedication to providing great customer service
Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers
Must cultivate curious and seek to improve their knowledge
Base Pay Range:
$98,573.00 - 135,537.60 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
