Full Job Description Who We Are:
Age in Place Home Care is a licensed, family-owned, home care agency registered to provide service in all counties throughout Pennsylvania. We are committed to assisting seniors who prefer to stay at home where their quality of life is enhanced without the stress and hardships of interrupted routines and changes in daily habits. We also assist the physically disabled and individuals who are recovering from surgery or other injuries or illnesses.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Community Development Manager to join our team. As the Community Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and engaging with our community members, organizing events, and promoting our organization through various channels. The purpose of this job is to communicate, network, build strong relationships, educate and follow-up with referral sources with the goal of adding new clients to Age in Place Home Care.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage our community
  • Plan, organize, and execute community events both online and offline
  • Manage all office standards including employee compliance, assist with billing, and general customer service inquiries
  • Build relationships with community members, stakeholders, and partners
  • Respond to inquiries, comments, and feedback from the community in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding
  • Monitor community trends and provide insights for improvement
  • Responsible for organizing and implementing referral development, marketing, and assessment programs
  • Responsible for the recruiting, onboarding, training and retention of new employees as it relates to company policies and procedures
Compensation:
  • This position is eligible for an incentive compensation plan in addition to salary
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma + five years of experience in related role OR bachelor's degree + three years experience in related role
  • Proven experience in community management or related roles
  • Strong event planning and management skills
  • Proficiency in social media management platforms and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to market, negotiate, and build relationships effectively
