Our District Sales Managers enjoy the autonomy to grow their territories while being supported by an experienced team committed to integrity, innovation, and exceptional customer service. The Opportunity As a District Sales Manager, you'll lead an established multi-state territory, serving utility companies, distributors, and manufacturers' representatives. You'll develop long-term customer relationships while identifying new opportunities to expand market share and strengthen Inner-Tite's presence throughout your territory. What You'll Do As the business leader for your territory, you will:- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy to increase sales and market share.
- Build strong relationships with utility customers, distributors, and independent sales representatives.
- Identify new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical sales presentations.
- Recruit, train, and support independent manufacturers' representatives within your territory.
- Develop distributor partnerships and provide product training and ongoing support.
- Represent Inner-Tite at industry trade shows, conferences, seminars, and customer events.
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare territory sales forecasts and maintain accurate sales reporting.
- Partner with Customer Service and company leadership to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Become the trusted technical resource customers rely on by understanding their challenges and recommending practical product solutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and leadership by sharing customer feedback and market insights that help drive future product development and innovation.
- Travel throughout your assigned territory (up to approximately 50% during weekdays) visiting customers, distributors, manufacturers' representatives, and industry events.
Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:
Successful industrial, manufacturing, utility, technical, or business-to-business sales experience. Experience managing distributor or manufacturer's representative networks is a plus. Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to interpret technical information and communicate product value effectively. Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Valid driver's license and the ability to travel extensively throughout an assigned territory. Why Join Inner-Tite?
