Your Opportunity + Impact The Highway Program Manager provides leadership for a portfolio of transportation projects, project managers, and key client relationships. This position is accountable for overall program performance, client satisfaction, workload and resource management, quality, financial results, staff development, and strategic growth. The Program Manager works closely with project managers and technical leaders to ensure teams are appropriately staffed, deliverables meet LDG's quality standards, and client commitments are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities Leads a portfolio of highway projects and project managers, ensuring successful project delivery, financial performance, quality standards, and client satisfaction. Develops and cultivates long-term client relationships, understands client priorities, and positions LDG as a trusted transportation partner. Provides oversight and guidance to Project Managers and Senior Project Managers, helping resolve significant project, client, contractual, and delivery issues. Balances workload and resources across the program, coordinating staffing priorities to meet commitments and support sustainable team performance. Establishes clear expectations for quality, accountability, and project execution, ensuring accurate, coordinated, and timely deliverables across the portfolio. Monitors financial performance, workload, backlog, project risks, and staffing needs across the program, taking proactive action to address issues and maintain performance objectives. Leads, mentors, and develops project managers and staff, supporting career development, succession planning, and continued growth of the team. Leads business development and strategic growth, including client engagement, opportunity development, pursuits, and expansion of transportation services. Supports department leadership in establishing and executing annual business goals and longer-term strategic initiatives
