The Corporate Sales Manager serves as the liaison for corporate group sales and corporate transient business. This position is responsible for maintaining existing business, soliciting new business, and market analysis to maximize revenue. The Corporate Sales Manager utilizes traditional and non-traditional sales techniques to generate revenue, establish new accounts, and identify opportunities within the competitive market. Key responsibilities include developing strategies to capture available market share, monitoring transient production and pricing, securing meeting and event space bookings, maintaining repeat business, and conducting sales presentations, sales calls, and site tours, while maintaining a high level of service and quality. This position contracts and closes group and transient business, ensuring that business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for quality service delivery. Achieve goals by seeking business opportunities that maximize revenues. Provides periodic reporting and analysis of market booking patterns and trends and builds customer loyalty through excellence throughout each customer experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Achieving or exceeding individual sales goals. 20%
- Responding to group/meeting leads while drilling to capture LNR (negotiated rate) opportunities. 5%
- Trend marketing to entice and promote location for corporate meetings, receptions, dinners, trainings, retreats, overnight rooms, etc. 40%
- Prospect, identify and secure all corporate business including meetings, trainings, retreats, receptions, LNR and all other aspects of the corporate market. Actively solicit new business through phone calls, correspondence, networking, and on site tours in order to secure contracts and support guest satisfaction. 5%
- Participate in professional membership organizations to develop prospective client relationships and remain current on industry information, practices and trends. 5
- Enter and maintain data to generate contracts, update client files, and record information into booking software. 5%
- Generate updates on transient segment each period to continually analyze transient booking patterns for trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals.
This role includes on-site event support as needed, with evening and weekend availability required approximately 25% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Formal Education High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred but experience considered in lieu of a degree.
Work Experience:
3-5 years of combined sales, leadership, and development experience. Work Skills (e.g., written and verbal communication skills) Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools. Ability to learn and effectively use technology platforms, including
PMS, POS, TBD
booking software, etc. Ability to prepare and confidently deliver professional client presentations, from initial development through execution. Specific Job Knowledge (e.g., knowledge of principles and procedures related to field and area) Ability in strategic planning, staff development, marketing, budgeting and analytics to drive measurable results and focus resources on work that will excel revenue growth. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices. Ability to develop clients relationships, identify business opportunities, analyze sales and booking trends, and support revenue goals. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple sales activities and respond effectively to changing business needs.

Proper business attire is required for in house and networking events. Salary Posting Information This position falls within salaried grade 15 and the range is $65,300-81,600. The final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's qualifications, department budget availability, market data, and internal equity.
