Job Description

Lead a Team. Drive Results. Build a Great Customer Experience. We're looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our growing dealership team. This is an opportunity for a motivated leader who knows how to drive sales performance, develop people, manage inventory, and create a strong customer experience. We're looking for someone who can lead from the front , hold a team accountable, and help create a sales environment where both employees and customers want to come back. What You'll Do Lead, coach, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales and gross-profit objectives Work closely with dealership leadership to develop sales goals, forecasts, staffing plans, and performance expectations Monitor individual and department performance, including units, gross, expenses, closing ratios, and other key performance indicators Review and approve deals while ensuring accuracy, profitability, and compliance with dealership policies and procedures Oversee vehicle appraisals and trade-in evaluations Monitor inventory levels, aging, merchandising, and vehicle presentation Work with leadership and other departments to maintain appropriate inventory and ensure vehicles are properly prepared for sale Develop and maintain effective sales processes and systems Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop sales team members Address customer concerns and help resolve issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Review sales activity and identify opportunities to improve performance and profitability Work with dealership leadership on advertising, promotions, sales events, and other strategies to drive traffic and sales Monitor incentives and ensure they are properly documented and approved Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-focused sales environment Participate in management meetings and contribute to overall dealership operations Ensure dealership policies, procedures, and sales processes are consistently followed Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Previous automotive sales management experience Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, gross profit, inventory, appraisals, and deal structure Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Strong customer-service mindset Ability to hold yourself and others accountable while maintaining a positive team environment Comfortable working with sales reports, performance metrics, and financial information Professional appearance and demeanor Valid driver's license Current state sales license Why This Opportunity?
