Job Description
We are looking for an AgLogic Sales Manager to join our team in Texas! AgLogic Chemical LLC, an affiliate of MEY Corporation, is dedicated to connecting customers, certified distributors and agricultural experts across the cotton belt with AgLogic 15GG aldicarb, a proven crop management input for pest control and profitability. AgLogic Chemical LLC is firmly committed to the conscientious use and stewardship of our product. Role Overview As an Area Sales Manager for Texas, you will be on the forefront and play a lead role in establishing and developing an AgLogic 15GG business in Texas and Oklahoma. In-season territory focus will be in cotton and peanut production areas of The Texas High Plains, Rolling Plains and SW Oklahoma (San Angelo, Lubbock, Amarillo, Altus), and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities will include working with consultants and AgLogic certified retailers to position the use of AgLogic 15GG with cotton and peanut growers. Additionally, you will be the frontline representative for our customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. Key Qualifications
- Proven experience working with channel partners to support company strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of cotton and peanut crop management including insect and nematode control.
- Basic experience with Microsoft software (WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT etc.) Education
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences (preferred) or related.
- Have 8+ years of sales experience, with a majority of it in the Agricultural field (preferred). Key Primary Responsibilities
- Establish, grow and support the use and sales of AgLogic 15GG in defined areas within Texas and Oklahoma.
- Evaluate the availability of granular application equipment and help design programs to increase adoption.
- Support retail locations and growers with equipment calibration.
- Train and support retailers and growers on the stewardship requirements of AgLogic 15GG.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key centers of influence including consultants, ag advisers and extension through field demonstration programs and in-field support.
- Promote and position AgLogic 15GG during retailer and grower meetings.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance during complaint resolution.
- Participate and assist in the planning of outings for targeted grower and distributor customers.
- Provide input to AgLogic Chemical executive team on strategies for expanded product sales of AgLogic 15GG.
- Provide expense forecasting and progress reports throughout the year.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Learning and understanding the MEY portfolio.
- Identifying new and growing existing business opportunities in the assigned geography.
- Working with and coordinating volumes, product availability and most importantly, price with the sales manager and director of operations.
- Provide territory market intelligence including market trends, product trends and availability and pricing in the assigned geography.
- This role is a home-based position with support of office equipment and communication expenses.
