We help people simplify their lives through the power of customized organizing solutions. The sky is the limit for our growth, so we are adding a new role to our team: Business Development Manager. We need to target more real estate agents, property managers, interior designers, and builders, among others, to introduce our services and create mutually beneficial partnerships. While Google drives most of our business now, we want an arsenal of referral partners who will see us as their go-to contact for their clients. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys networking and engaging with new people on behalf of the business. The BDM will have experience working in sales and/or marketing. Experience in real estate-related fields is a bonus. We are looking for someone who has big energy and enthusiasm while also remaining focused and hitting targeted goals. This is a part-time position, requiring around 15-20 hours per week.
The duties include:
Identifying potential partners in specific industries and setting up meetings with those partners. Gaining a thorough understanding of our work and how it benefits our clients. Promoting Bee Organized Boston's services in a way that is tailored to the needs of each type of referral partner (real estate agents versus interior designers, for example). Nurturing those relationships through consistent meetings, email campaigns, networking events, etc. Tracking sales goals and hitting specific targets either monthly or quarterly. This role reports directly to the CEO and Hive Manager. The team will meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis either in person or via Zoom.
