The Manager of Business Development drives sales and operational strategy while leading the short-term and long-term client roadmap. They partner with internal Apidel resources, selling into and overseeing multiple strategic and key accounts, ensuring revenue attainment and growth. The Director, Business Development leads the development and implementation of strategic planning targeting new clientele while acting as a consultant, developing strong internal/external client partnerships to gain an in-depth understanding of client needs. They are a trusted advisor working under limited direction.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement sales strategy for both tactical and strategic relationship development and revenue attainment goals Ensure maximum client satisfaction working in conjunction with internal assets to meet or exceed all contracted SLA, KPI and performance metrics Provide leadership with continuing recommendations regarding the solutions delivery strategy and organizational modeling for additional Apidel prospects and customers Lead the translation of vision, strategy, and concepts into operational and actionable plans Lead (by example), coach, and develop all program management and assigned client services account resources Advisory responsibility for team selection and staff turnover Serve as the senior management escalation point on all client-related issues as warranted Maintain a fundamental understanding of client business drivers that relate to workforce solutions Establish, develop, and proactively maintain senior-level executive relationships within assigned programs and expand existing client program sponsor relationships Perform site visits (with executive stakeholders) and promote/support proactive client and supplier communication through strategic business reviews and other developed platforms Stay abreast of industry trends and innovation, serving as a subject matter expert for assigned client services teams and client executive sponsors Serve as an available senior-level implementation lead (as needed) across the full account portfolio Work cross-functionally within the extended organization to provide feedback and strategic solutions to client needs Partner with tactical business development and recruiting teams to develop successful account opportunities P&L ownership for all established accounts within the portfolio, ensuring budgeted profitability meets or exceeds fiscal target Other duties and special projects as assigned.Education Requirement:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.Related Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 10 years of sales and/or supervisory/management experience in the staffing and/or MSP space with particular strength in staffing sales, outsourcing, consulting, software development, information technology, or workforce solutions. Demonstrated experience in leadership with operational and financial functions such as profit and loss. Experience with on-site/corporate operations and/or remote workforce solutions management. Extensive knowledge of enterprise-level sales process retention. Prior client consultative experience. Demonstrated engagement with industry-leading associations and boards preferred. Language/Communication Skills (Written & Verbal): Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Ability to publish and edit reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Computer/System Skills Requirements:
Working knowledge of computers, including Windows environments, email, and the internet. Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Vision. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn proprietary technology. Industry Staffing & Recruiting.Benefits:
