We're growing fast and looking to expand our retail presence, and this role comes with real influence in how we get there. The Role We're looking for a driven, relationship-first Business Development Manager to expand Scentral Zone's footprint with retailers, distributors, and key accounts across the U.S, with a strong local focus on building relationships with Twin Cities retailers through regular visits and events. This is primarily an in-office role based out of our Edina office, with frequent account visits throughout the week across the Twin Cities, plus occasional travel for trade shows. You'll be prospecting new business and nurturing the accounts current accounts. What You'll Do Use your sales experience to help shape our ongoing sales strategy, execute the sales process, and run the full sales cycle to drive revenue and market growth Self-generate leads through Store Leads and other creative channels, including warm leads sourced through marketing Identify and secure new retail partnerships and wholesale opportunities using HubSpot to run a dynamic, multi-touch sequence, from first touch to close Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention Prepare accurate sales quotes and invoices in Cin7, our inventory and POS system Conduct virtual and in-person sales presentations, product demos, and negotiations Engage with retailers on social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to build familiarity and support outreach Make outbound prospecting calls to build relationships and move deals forward (100+ per week) Genuinely committed to going above and beyond for our retail partners and internal team alike, always listening for what they need and following through. Track and report on key sales metrics monthly to spot trends and opportunities Stay plugged into trends in clean beauty, wellness, and personal care Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support sales initiatives and brand awareness Coordinate with our operations team on shipping needs and timelines Travel as needed for trade shows What You Bring Minimum 2 years CPG/Retail B2B Sales experience A track record of success in B2B with strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
