Director of Marketing & Business Development About Great Sports Great Sports is one of South Florida's fastest-growing youth sports organizations, providing high-quality after-school sports programs, summer camps, leagues, and enrichment programs at elementary schools throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County. Our mission is to positively impact children's lives through sports while building lasting partnerships with schools and communities. As we continue expanding throughout Florida, we are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing & Business Development to lead our growth initiatives. Position Summary The Director of Marketing & Business Development will be responsible for driving the overall growth of Great Sports through strategic marketing, business development, partnership development, and enrollment growth. This is a leadership position for a highly motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, creating marketing campaigns, generating new business opportunities, and helping scale a growing organization. Key Responsibilities Marketing Leadership Develop and execute the company's annual marketing strategy. Manage all digital marketing initiatives. Oversee social media platforms and content strategy. Manage email marketing campaigns and parent communications. Coordinate website updates and online presence. Develop promotional materials, flyers, brochures, and advertising campaigns. Strengthen and maintain the Great Sports brand across all platforms. Analyze marketing performance and recommend improvements. Business Development Identify and secure new school partnerships. Develop relationships with principals, PTAs, aftercare directors, and community organizations. Generate new corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities. Build relationships with municipalities, nonprofits, and community partners. Develop strategic alliances that increase company visibility and revenue. Assist with expansion into new markets. Enrollment Growth Develop campaigns that increase program registrations. Create seasonal marketing initiatives for after-school programs and summer camps. Monitor enrollment trends and recommend growth strategies. Work closely with operations to maximize enrollment at existing schools. Develop referral and retention campaigns. Community & Brand Development Represent Great Sports at networking events and community functions. Coordinate promotional events and school outreach. Build relationships with local businesses and community leaders. Assist with media opportunities and public relations. Support fundraising and awareness initiatives for the Great Sports Foundation. Leadership & Analytics Track marketing KPIs and return on investment. Prepare monthly performance reports. Manage marketing budgets. Identify growth opportunities through data analysis. Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in marketing, business development, sales, or a related leadership role. Strong digital marketing knowledge, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising. Proven experience developing partnerships and growing organizations. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with strong project management abilities. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset. Comfortable attending networking events and meeting with school administrators and community leaders. Experience using Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and social media management tools is preferred. Preferred Experience Experience working in one or more of the following industries is a plus: Education Youth sports Children's programs Recreation Camps Franchising Nonprofit organizations Community outreach Compensation Competitive base salary plus a performance-based bonus program.
