Cornelius Seed's District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for achieving annual unit and gross sales goals for all products within the geographic confines of a sales district, growing booking volume and farm share, and recruiting, training, and leading a selling dealer force (Seed Reps) to deliver direct representation to every corn grower in the district. This role owns five core areas:
Sales Achievement:
Meeting and exceeding annual unit and gross sales goals within the district.
Seed Rep Recruitment & Development:
Assessing, recruiting, training, and coaching seed reps.
District Strategy & Planning:
Partnering with the RSM on annual sales goals, growth goals, and strategic plans, and overseeing their execution.
Customer & Key Account Management:
Selling directly to predetermined farm management firms and key customers, and supporting customers across the district.
Reporting, Coordination & Logistics:
Keeping the RSM and administrative team informed, and coordinating seed delivery within the district. The District Sales Manager is accountable for outcomes. This position reports to the RSM, and has as direct reports all Seed Reps residing within the district; it is also responsible for all customers within the district.

$70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
