About DePalma Hotels & Resorts DePalma Hotels & Resorts is a Texas-based, second-generation family business specializing in hotel management. We partner with ownership groups to operate high-performing hotels and build strong teams across our portfolio. We are seeking a hands-on Hotel Portfolio Sales Manager to support multiple properties - providing consistent sales coverage, responding to leads and RFPs, and driving revenue through proactive account development. Visit our website at www.depalmahotels.com Position Summary This is a multi-property, "player-coach" sales role supporting both select-service and larger full-service hotels in our portfolio. Must love picking up the phone and making calls. For select-service properties, you will often serve as the primary sales support resource (since these hotels do not have dedicated on-site sales managers), handling inquiries, responding to RFPs, building local accounts, and maintaining sales momentum. For larger properties, you will fill gaps and provide additional horsepower where needed (e.g., temporary coverage, targeted prospecting, special projects, or support in a specific discipline such as Corporate/BT, Catering, Group, or SMERF). Success in this role requires strong organization, responsive follow-through, and the ability to flex your approach based on each property's needs and demand segments. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Sales Coverage & Lead Management Serve as sales support across multiple hotels, adjusting priorities based on business needs and demand patterns. Respond quickly and professionally to RFPs, inbound leads, and account inquiries; ensure timely follow-up through close. Coordinate with property leadership (GM/ops) to confirm availability, pricing strategy, and operational considerations. Revenue Generation & Market Outreach Proactively develop local and regional business through outbound prospecting, sales calls, and relationship-building. Identify and pursue opportunities across key segments such as: Corporate / BT (Business Travel) Group / Project / Sports / Social SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal) Catering / Meetings / Events (as applicable by property) Build account plans, manage pipelines, and produce measurable revenue results. On-Property Support & Collaboration Travel to assigned properties as needed to support on-site sales efforts, client visits, site tours, and local market engagement. Collaborate with property teams to ensure excellent communication and service delivery for booked business. Step in to provide additional support where staffing gaps exist or where extra focus is needed. Reporting & Administrative Excellence Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and production tracking; provide clear updates to leadership and property teams with weekly reporting Support rate integrity and sales process consistency across the portfolio. Qualifications Required 2+ years of hotel sales experience (property-level or multi-property preferred). Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, properties, and deadlines with strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills (you will be responding to RFPs and managing client relationships). Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25% Preferred Brand and Sales Systems Knowledge- CI/TY, FOSSE, Delphi,etc, StayPMS, CVENT, Lanyon Preferred Experience across multiple segments (Corporate/BT, Group, SMERF, Catering). Familiarity with common hotel sales tools and RFP channels (CRM/sales systems, brand/third-party lead sources, etc.). Strong knowledge of the DFW market and surrounding drive-to demand generators.
