Partnership Manager - Florida Full-Time Tampa, Florida $50,000 annually + bonus Reports to Lindsey Schiro, Partnership Director, Southeast About Next Round Next Round is the golf industry's leading club trade-in platform. We give pro shops and country clubs a custom-branded trade-in portal their members actually use; credit stays in the shop, staff confirms trade-ins in minutes, and our partners have collectively generated more than $10 million in pro shop revenue. We work across the golf ecosystem, partnering with green grass (country club and pro shops) facilities, PGA Sections, national retail chains, charitable organizations such as First Tee, and national fitting networks such as Club Champion. The Opportunity Next Round is seeking a relationship-driven, highly motivated Partnership Manager - Florida to help grow and strengthen our presence throughout the Florida golf market. Based in Tampa, Florida , this role will work directly with Lindsey Schiro, Partnership Director , to activate existing accounts, develop new business, maintain partner relationships, increase engagement, and ensure Next Round partners have the support they need to successfully integrate trade-ins into their businesses. This is a hybrid business development, and partner success role across Next Round's Florida market. As directed, the Partnership Manager will spend time developing relationships throughout the Florida golf community while also conducting outbound prospecting, finding new opportunities, and maintaining prospective partners. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships but is equally comfortable picking up the phone, initiating conversations with prospective partners, following up consistently, and turning opportunities into measurable revenue growth. You will serve as an important extension of the Partnership Director in Florida, helping execute the broader Southeast partnership strategy at the local level. What You'll Own Partner Success Management As directed by the Partnership Director- you will develop and maintain strong relationships with golf professionals, pro shops, private clubs, independent retailers, fitting studios, charitable partners, and other key accounts throughout Florida. You will serve as a consistent point of contact for assigned partners and ensure they understand how to use Next Round effectively to generate additional revenue and provide value to their customers and members. Business Development and Partner Success As directed, conduct consistent outbound prospecting to golf courses, private clubs, pro shops, retailers, fitting studios, golf organizations, and other prospective partners throughout Florida. Research and identify prospective accounts and key decision-makers within assigned markets. Conduct introductory sales conversations, qualify prospective partners, communicate Next Round's value proposition, and schedule partnership meetings. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the sales cycle and work to convert qualified opportunities into active Next Round partners, reporting operational revenue to the Partnership Director. Develop targeted outreach campaigns around key selling periods, golf seasons, tournaments, PGA events, equipment launches, and other opportunities relevant to the Florida golf market. Pipeline & Territory Management Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospective partners across Florida. Track prospecting activity, conversations, follow-ups, meetings, opportunities, and partnership conversions within Next Round's CRM. Maintain an organized cadence of outreach to ensure qualified opportunities do not become stagnant. Under advisement of the Partnership Director, establish territory priorities, target-account lists, outreach strategies, and measurable business-development goals. Regularly review pipeline activity and identify opportunities to improve conversion, accelerate partnership activation, and expand Next Round's market penetration. Build relationships with prospective partners, introduce and demonstrate the Next Round platform, identify partner needs, communicate the business value of the trade-in program, and actively move qualified opportunities from initial outreach through partnership activation. This includes both field-based relationship development and proactive inside-sales outreach. Account Activation & Growth Work with existing Next Round partners to increase engagement and trade-in volume. Identify accounts that have become inactive or underutilized and develop practical strategies, in coordination with the Partnership Director, to reactivate those relationships. Regularly evaluate account activity and identify opportunities to deepen partnerships. New Partnership Development Identify, pursue, and maintain partnership opportunities within the Florida golf market, including: Private clubs and country clubs Golf courses and pro shops Independent golf retailers Club fitting studios and performance centers Driving ranges and golf facilities First Tee chapters and charitable organizations PGA and golf-industry associations Other organizations that can expand Next Round's reach Build relationships with prospective partners, introduce the Next Round platform, and help move qualified opportunities through the partnership process. National Account Support Support Next Round's national partnerships at the local level, including Club Champion locations throughout the assigned Florida market. Build relationships with local fitters, studio managers, and other stakeholders to increase engagement and referral activity. As additional national partnerships are launched, assist with their activation and ongoing support throughout Florida. Golf Industry Network Development Build genuine relationships with individuals who influence the Florida golf market, including PGA professionals, club managers, fitting professionals, association leaders, charitable organizations, and other industry stakeholders. At the Partnership Director's discretion, represent Next Round professionally at golf events, partner meetings, association activities, and other industry opportunities. Partnership Director Support Work closely with Lindsey Schiro, Partnership Director , to execute Next Round's broader partnership and regional growth strategy in the Southeast. Provide regular updates on account activity, prospective partnerships, market opportunities, partner feedback, and challenges. Bring forward ideas and market intelligence that can help improve Next Round's partnership strategy throughout Florida and the broader Southeast. What Success Looks Like Success in this position means building a strong and visible Next Round presence throughout the Florida golf community while consistently contributing to new business growth. You will be expected to develop trusted partner relationships, increase engagement within existing accounts, reactivate underperforming partners, maintain an active pipeline of prospective accounts, conduct consistent outbound outreach, generate qualified meetings, and convert new opportunities into active partnerships. Success will be measured through a combination of relationship quality, partner engagement, account activation, trade-in activity, pipeline development, new partner acquisition, and overall contribution to regional growth. This role is not about simply making a high volume of sales calls. It is about using disciplined sales activity to create relationships and using those relationships to create long-term value for Next Round and its partners. Qualifications Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple accounts, relationships, and priorities simultaneously Experience or demonstrated comfort with outbound prospecting and inside sales Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field Organized and consistent with partner follow-up Comfortable initiating conversations and developing new business relationships Ability to represent Next Round professionally with club leadership, PGA professionals, retailers, fitters, and industry partners Comfortable tracking account activity and working toward measurable performance goals Ability and willingness to travel throughout Florida as needed Strongly Preferred Experience in golf, sporting goods, partnerships, business development, account management, hospitality, fundraising, or a relationship-driven sales environment Familiarity with the Florida golf market Existing relationships with golf clubs, PGA professionals, retailers, fitting professionals, or golf organizations Understanding of golf equipment, club fitting, or the golf equipment upgrade cycle Experience working with nonprofit or charitable organizations Previous experience managing an account book or geographic territory This is a relationship-driven partnership and business development position that combines inside sales, territory development, partner success, and field-based relationship building. While this is not a traditional high-volume call-center sales role, consistent prospecting, outbound outreach, pipeline development, and new partner acquisition are important components of the position You will spend meaningful time in the field meeting partners, visiting clubs and golf businesses, attending events, identifying opportunities, and strengthening Next Round's presence in Florida. You will have autonomy in managing your market while working within the strategy and priorities established by the Partnership Director. The right person will be comfortable taking initiative while also communicating consistently, asking thoughtful questions, and collaborating closely with leadership.
