Job Description
Regional Sales ManagerWork From Home Position- Candidates must reside in either
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on achieving and exceeding regional B2B revenue targets and market share goals.
Build, onboard and manage relationships with distributors and channel partners, including negotiating commercial terms, establishing KPIs, and conducting regular performance reviews.
Work closely with distributor partners to develop sales plans, promotional programs, merchandising standards and inventory management best practices.
Manage and grow key accounts through proactive account management, regular business reviews, tailored solutions and upsell/cross-sell initiatives.
Use CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to maintain accurate pipelines, forecast sales, track distributor performance and report on territory results.
Train and support distributor sales teams and field representatives on product features, technical specifications, value propositions and selling techniques.
Collaborate with marketing, product, operations and logistics teams to coordinate product launches, pricing updates, promotional campaigns and distribution planning.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify new opportunities, mitigate risks and inform product or channel adjustments.
Attend industry events, trade shows and customer meetings to represent the company, generate leads and strengthen distributor and customer relationships.
Monitor compliance with contractual agreements, pricing policies and regulatory requirements while ensuring product quality and brand consistency across the distribution network.
Qualifications5+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, managing distributor relationships or distribution networks in a regional role.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing revenue through distributor channels.
Experience in Food & Beverage or Technical Sales is highly desirable, with an understanding of channel dynamics, product handling and category-specific selling points.
Proven experience with distributor partnerships, account management and building long-term channel strategies.
Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, to manage pipelines, forecasts and distributor performance reporting.
Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at both distributor and customer levels.
Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends and performance metrics to inform decisions and optimize channel performance.
Ability to travel regularly within the region, work independently in the field and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Valid drivers license and ability to visit distributor and customer sites as required.
