Full-Time Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead a small sales team and expand our client base across behavioral health, physician practices, healthcare organizations, etc. This role is responsible for driving new business growth, managing and developing a sales team, and executing strategic initiatives in a highly regulated healthcare and laboratory services environment. The ideal candidate combines strong sales leadership experience with a deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payer dynamics, and compliance requirements .Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Establish and execute a strategic sales plan to expand our footprint. Identify and pursue high-value accounts in behavioral health, addiction treatment, and physician practices. Monitor pipeline activity, forecasting, and performance metrics. Business Development Drive new client acquisition through direct outreach, referrals, and industry relationships. Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships. Partner with leadership to evaluate new market opportunities and service offerings. Direct Sales (You Carry a Bag) Prospect and develop new accounts through cold calling and relationship development. Identify and pursue new opportunities by targeting specific markets in healthcare. Build long-term customer relationships and expand existing accounts. Travel to existing and prospective client sites across the territory. Represent products/services at conferences and industry events as needed. Client & Market Expertise Serve as subject matter expert on our services, including toxicology and laboratory solutions Understand payer trends, bundled billing risks, and reimbursement challenges impacting clients Guide clients on best practices related to billing, documentation, and compliance Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with billing, compliance, and operations teams to ensure client success Support onboarding and retention efforts for key accounts Provide feedback to leadership on market trends, client needs, and competitive positioningQualifications:
Required 8+ years of experience in healthcare sales, laboratory sales, or related field 5+ years of sales leadership or management experience Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing accounts Strong understanding of: Healthcare reimbursement and payer relationships Behavioral health or toxicology testing markets (preferred) Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Preferred Experience with: Clinical laboratory services (toxicology, diagnostics, etc.) Selling in all health client segments utilizing lab services Contracting and compliance environments (EKRA, billing practices) CRM experience (we use HubSpot)Compensation & Benefits:
