Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a NORAM Sales Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with a global leader in public safety and road safety technology. This fully remote position will be responsible for driving sales growth across North America, developing strategic public-sector accounts, expanding channel partnerships, and securing complex, high-value business within the Road Safety and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) markets.

Regular North American travel as business needs requires. Position Overview The NORAM Sales Manager will own and execute the regional sales strategy for road safety solutions across North America. This individual will identify and develop new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, build relationships with public authorities and strategic partners, and manage complex government-led sales cycles from opportunity development through contract award. The ideal candidate brings significant sales experience within Public Safety, Road Safety, ITS, transportation technology, or another complex government-facing environment and understands how to navigate multi-stakeholder sales involving public authorities, distributors, integrators, resellers, and technical teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the North American sales strategy, including market positioning, pricing, account targeting, and go-to-market planning. Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across the U.S. and broader North American market. Grow existing strategic accounts while identifying opportunities for expanded product and service adoption. Build and maintain relationships with public authorities, transportation agencies, government stakeholders, and other key decision-makers. Develop and grow a strong partner ecosystem that may include distributors, system integrators, resellers, consultants, and other strategic partners. Manage complex, long-cycle sales opportunities involving multiple technical, commercial, and public-sector stakeholders. Support government procurement activities, including RFPs, RFQs, bid strategy, pricing, proposals, negotiations, and contract development. Work closely with internal product, engineering, marketing, operations, and leadership teams throughout the sales process. Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, account-development, and market intelligence information. Monitor competitor activity, customer needs, and industry trends to identify new growth opportunities. Serve as the voice of the North American market and provide customer and partner feedback to help influence product and commercial strategy. Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, partner events, and other business-development activities. Travel throughout North America as required to support customers, partners, and business-development initiatives. Qualifications 9+ years of sales, business development, strategic account management, or related experience. Demonstrated success in account development and account growth. Strong track record of developing and closing complex, high-value sales opportunities. Experience selling into government, public-sector, transportation, public safety, road safety, or ITS environments strongly preferred. Experience navigating government-led procurement and complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles preferred. Strong experience developing relationships with executive, technical, procurement, and operational stakeholders. Experience working with distributors, integrators, resellers, OEMs, consultants, or other channel partners. Proven ability to develop new markets and establish relationships with new customers. Strong contract negotiation, pricing, forecasting, and pipeline-management skills. Ability to communicate technical and commercial value to a variety of audiences. Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, results-driven sales approach. Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment. Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America as needed.
