We're seeking a Territory Business Manager to expand our presence by strengthening existing customer relationships throughout the territory. This is an opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, building long-term partnerships, and helping customers improve equipment reliability and operational performance. This is a field-based position with travel throughout the assigned local territory and occasional visits to the Bartlett, IL office for meetings and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow sales within upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas accounts throughout the assigned territory. Build relationships with plant managers, maintenance teams, reliability engineers, operations leaders, and procurement professionals. Identify opportunities for hydraulic, pneumatic, filtration, and fluid power solutions that improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Prospect and develop new business through facility visits, networking, referrals, and strategic account planning. Conduct on-site customer visits, equipment evaluations, and solution presentations. Partner with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to deliver customized technical solutions. Manage territory strategy, sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity. Stay informed on industry trends, customer initiatives, and competitive products within the oil & gas market. Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Business, Technical, or related discipline). 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience selling into the oil & gas is strongly preferred but will consider those that have industrial sales experience. Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills. Technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and recommend value-driven solutions. Self-starter who thrives in a field-based sales environment. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the local territory. No overnight travel. What Success Looks Like Growing market share within oil & gas accounts across the territory.
