•We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven VP of Sales and Marketing to take charge of our industrial sector. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans, driving revenue growth, and leading our team to achieve the company's business objectives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing sales and marketing functions in the industrial sector, with a strong background in CRM, ERP, tradeshows, aftermarket parts sales, leadership, P&L, dealers, distributors, KPI management, and Go To Market strategies.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services in the industrial sector. 2. Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions. 3. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals. 4. Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts. 5. Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets. 6. Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly. 7. Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs. 8. Meet with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. 9. Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness. 10. Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share. 11. Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets. 12. Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. An MBA would be a plus. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the industrial sector. 3. Proven experience in CRM, ERP, tradeshows, aftermarket parts sales, leadership, P&L, dealers, distributors, KPI management, and Go To Market strategies. 4. Exceptional ability to motivate and lead a team. 5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. 6. Ability to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management. 7. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. 8. Proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising, and promotional staff and activities. 9. Thorough understanding of branding principles and tactics through multimedia including the web and social media. 10. Proven ability to design, develop and implement both strategic programs and supporting tactics. 11. Superior written and verbal communication skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills. 12. Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high client expectations. 13. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language. 14. Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes. 15. This role requires a high level of dedication, innovation, and strategic thinking. 16. Must be able to travel as needed.
