Performance-Based Area Profit Share The Opportunity Anderson SW LLC is looking for a strong leader who wants more than a traditional restaurant management job. Our Area Supervisors are responsible for developing people, improving restaurants, growing sales, controlling costs, and ultimately running their area like a business. We believe the person responsible for producing profitable results should participate in those results. Your starting salary will generally fall between $44,200 and $50,000 , based on your experience, leadership background, proven results, and ability to take responsibility for a multi-unit operation. Beyond salary, this position has a significant profit-sharing opportunity tied directly to the financial performance of the area. How the Profit Share Works Our philosophy is simple: the better the area performs, the greater the earning opportunity. Area Supervisors participate in the profitability they help create. The incentive is based on the EBITDA/profitability performance of the assigned area under the company's Area Supervisor compensation plan. This means this is not simply a $44,200-$50,000 salary position. A successful Area Supervisor who develops great managers, grows sales, controls costs, and produces strong profitability has the opportunity to earn substantially more through profit sharing.
Illustrative total earning opportunity:
$60,000-$100,000+ , depending on area performance. Profit sharing is performance-based and is not guaranteed. What We Are Looking For We want someone who can lead a business through people . Restaurant experience is valuable, but leadership ability, accountability, business judgment, and the ability to develop others matter even more. The right Area Supervisor will be expected to: Recruit, train, coach, and retain strong Store Managers and future leaders. Build a pipeline of talent rather than waiting until a position becomes vacant. Develop employees through our career path: Sandwich Artist → Senior Sandwich Artist → Store Manager → Managing Operator → Area Supervisor. Hold Store Managers accountable while also giving them the tools and coaching necessary to succeed. Visit restaurants consistently and know what is actually happening in each business. Drive sales and customer traffic. Manage labor appropriately without sacrificing the customer experience. Improve and maintain food-cost performance. Understand restaurant P&Ls and use financial results to make better operating decisions. Improve EBITDA and overall profitability throughout the area. Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, operations, and brand compliance. Ensure restaurants are properly staffed and managers are actively recruiting. Identify struggling stores quickly and create specific improvement plans. Recognize high-performing employees and make thoughtful recommendations regarding raises and promotions. Protect company assets and maintain strong cash, inventory, and operational controls. Communicate clearly with ownership and the Director of Operations about opportunities, problems, staffing needs, and results. Be willing to step into a restaurant when necessary while understanding that the ultimate job is to build teams that can operate successfully without constant intervention. How We Measure Success We don't want Area Supervisors judged by whether they simply completed a checklist of store visits. We want them measured by what happens to the businesses they lead. Success means sales and traffic are growing, stores are properly staffed, managers are getting better, food and labor costs are controlled, operational standards are high, problems are addressed quickly, and the area produces strong EBITDA. Most importantly, a successful Area Supervisor should be developing people who are capable of taking on increasingly larger responsibilities. Compensation Reviews Base salary is reviewed based on performance, increased responsibility, development of the area, and overall business results. Time in the position does not automatically create a raise. Performance does.
Our compensation philosophy is:
Experience can affect where you start. Performance determines where you go. Who Will Thrive Here This position is a strong fit for someone who looks at a restaurant and thinks like an owner. You notice when labor is too high. You want to understand why food cost moved. You recognize when a manager needs coaching. You see talented employees and immediately begin thinking about how to develop them. You don't walk past problems, and you don't need someone constantly telling you what needs to be done. You are competitive, accountable, organized, comfortable having difficult conversations, and excited by the idea that improving the business can directly improve your own compensation. The Bigger Opportunity We are building a growth organization. An Area Supervisor at Anderson SW isn't being hired simply to maintain what exists today. We want leaders capable of helping us build what comes next. For the right person, this position can provide the opportunity to lead a multi-million-dollar restaurant business, develop future leaders, participate financially in the results they create, and grow alongside the organization. Anderson SW LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
