Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in home services or kitchen and bath remodels. The ideal candidate will oversee remodeling projects from design handoff to final installation, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires excellent client communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Business Development Networking and relationship building with local contractors, designers, and other industry related fields Attend business networking groups, BNI, and chamber of commerce meetings Develop project timelines, coordinating all trades and deliverables. Collaborate with designers and installers to ensure design intent aligns with construction feasibility. Client Communication & Relationship Management Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate timelines, updates, and changes clearly and professionally. Manage expectations around costs, schedules, and potential challenges Oversight & Quality Control Conduct or assign site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards. Verify installations of cabinetry, countertops, and finishing details. Oversee punch lists and final inspections to ensure project completion meets expectations. Budgeting, Materials & Logistics Monitor project budgets, invoices, and change orders, ensuring a healthy margin is maintained. Track material orders, deliveries, and ensure correct items are on-site and communicated with installation teams. Address potential delays due to material lead times or backorders proactively. Problem Solving & Documentation Quickly resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule. Document changes, decisions, and communication for accurate record-keeping. Team Collaboration Work closely with designers, coordinators, installers, and management. Provide feedback on recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement. Support sales and design teams with field insights on feasibility and costs. Customer Satisfaction Conduct final client walkthroughs and ensure all punch list items are completed. Maintain a professional and client-focused approach to enhance the company's reputation. Gather client feedback to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years experience in project management, remodeling, home services, or general contracting. Strong understanding of kitchen and bath design and construction processes. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
