Job Description
ResponsibilitiesLeading all sales and account/planning, forecasting, reporting, management efforts for assigned accounts within territoryDevelop and maintain target accounts while driving sales growth and new business within a specific territoryUnderstanding, assessing, and anticipating customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunitiesThrough the acquisition of new customers to maximize supply center revenueProviding exceptional, and escalated customer service issue follow-up, and a solid partnership with the primary contact point for issue resolutionWorking closely with supply center and corporate resource to have them enter & fulfill ordersHaving a strong knowledge of the AM sales process and policies (e.g., accruals, credit, expenses, rewards)Acting as a mentor for other sales representativesKey ResponsibilitiesBring core product specification knowledge, application, and value to the customerUnderstand necessary building codes and how they impact company productsRead blueprints and understand take-off capabilities for core productsSells remodeling, new construction, project work, and ISS (Installed Sales Solutions)Must be able to accurately demo all core products to small and large audiencesUnderstand the basics of negotiating correct market value pricing for the assigned territory, and seek advice from an appropriate ManagerRequired Education, Skills & ExperienceSuccessful sales history with 2+ years of outside sales experienceSolid longevity in past positionsSelf-directed, highly organized, customer-focused, detail oriented, and competitiveStrong organizational and time management skillsCRM experience required- Salesforce preferredMicrosoft suite; must be able to use in your day to dayProven experience in new business selling, upselling, and sellingTravel 70% of the week within the regionExperience within the building materials industry is highly preferredBachelor's degree preferredPreferred- Working knowledge of core building material products (specifically windows & siding) for both single and multi-family applicationsPreferred experience working with builders and architects to create bigger ticket salesAbout Us When you join Alside, you are part of a leading exterior building products distribution business serving residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets. Additional Information The actual wage offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.
