Job Description

Metglas, Inc. , located in Conway, SC, is a world-leading producer of Amorphous Metal Ribbon. Since our company began in the 1970s, Metglas, Inc. (then Allied Signal located in Morristown, NJ) pioneered the development and production of amorphous metal, a unique alloy that exhibits a structure in which the metal atoms occur in a random pattern. The key to Metglas Inc.'s proprietary manufacturing process is the rapid-solidification of molten alloy at a rate of approximately one million degrees Celsius per second. We are currently seeking a Sales Manager - Power & Advanced Products to join our growing team. This role is a North America-focused sales and business development position for Metglas products, combining account management, strategic planning, technical marketing, forecasting, pricing, and new product commercialization. Key Responsibilities Develop growth strategies for existing and new Metglas products and markets. Manage customer relationships, account pricing, sales forecasting, CRM data, and production planning. Lead market research, competitive analysis, product launches, and promotional activities. Coordinate with global sales, manufacturing, R&D, Quality, and Operations teams in the U.S. and Japan. Identify profitable opportunities in utilities, transformers, government programs, and emerging markets. Maintain competitive intelligence in CRM and provide strategic plans to management. Represent customer priorities internally and support technical inquiries, design-in projects, and product development. Travel domestically and internationally approximately 33-50%. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering; MBA preferred. At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in industrial or technical marketing, product development, commercialization, or strategic business development. Strong knowledge of power and utility markets, forecasting, pricing, financial analysis, and account strategy. Demonstrated ability to commercialize technical products and lead cross-functional projects. Strong analytical, project management, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and data analysis. Experience with government agencies or National Laboratories, government supply programs, transformer markets, international marketing, or emerging technologies is preferred. ITAR and EAR Disclosure Statement This position requires compliance with ITAR and/or EAR requirements. As a potential candidate for this position, you must be a "U.S. Person" (as defined under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 and 15 C.F.R. § 772.1). The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) are the primary export control regulations in the United States. The successful candidate will be required to show proof substantiating their status as a U.S. Person.
Pay:
$90,715.30 - $105,304.08 per year
