Job Description
Lead the Growth of a Three-Hotel Portfolio. We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Area Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for a growing portfolio of three Spark by Hilton hotels located in Hilton Head Island, Summerville, and Orangeburg, South Carolina . With responsibility for a $7.8 million revenue portfolio , this is a true ownership opportunity. You'll develop and execute the sales strategy, cultivate key business relationships, identify new revenue opportunities, and partner closely with operations and revenue management to maximize market share and profitability. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing , you'll have the autonomy to shape the sales direction for the portfolio while working alongside an experienced leadership team that values innovation, accountability, and results. What You'll Do Develop and execute the annual sales and marketing strategy for all three hotels. Drive top-line revenue through proactive corporate, government, negotiated, and group business development. Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key accounts throughout the region. Identify new market opportunities and implement strategic sales initiatives. Partner with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, demand strategy, and market positioning. Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports. Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and sales missions. Recruit, coach, mentor, and potentially lead additional sales support as the portfolio continues to grow. Collaborate closely with hotel leadership to ensure exceptional service delivery and long-term client satisfaction. What We're Looking For 5+ years of hotel sales experience with progressively increasing responsibility. At least 2 years of experience as a Director of Sales or in a multi-property sales leadership role. Demonstrated success developing corporate, negotiated, government, and group business. Strong strategic planning, forecasting, and analytical skills. Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Experience working with Hilton systems and brands is preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regularly between hotels within the portfolio.
