+ Company Vehicle An established and growing organization is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager in Minnehaha County, SD to lead a high-performing sales team across a large multi-state territory. This is not a individual-contributor sales position . The Regional Sales Manager will spend very little to no time directly selling. Instead, this role is responsible for leading the sales team, driving accountability, managing budgets and expenses, forecasting performance, and ensuring the overall profitability of the territory . The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader who understands both the people side and financial side of sales management and can effectively manage a geographically dispersed team.

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:

$80,000-$110,000

Bonus/Commission Potential:

Up to $50,000

Total Compensation Potential:

Approximately $140,000+ based on performance Company Vehicle Provided Four health insurance plan options HSA and FSA options Company HSA contribution of $600 individual / $1,200 family 401(k) with 25% company match $150,000 company-paid life insurance 2 weeks accrued PTO What You'll Do As Regional Sales Manager, you will have ownership of the sales team's performance and the financial health of your territory.

Responsibilities include:

Lead, coach, develop, and manage a regional sales team Establish clear expectations and hold sales representatives accountable for activity, performance, and results Monitor and improve overall territory profitability Manage and control operating and sales-related expenses Develop quarterly sales and financial forecasts Prepare and manage monthly budgets Track team performance against sales goals, budgets, and projections Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action when necessary Maintain strong financial and operational discipline throughout the territory Provide consistent leadership and direction to a geographically dispersed sales team Maintain visibility throughout the region and ensure representatives are executing against company expectations Partner with leadership to drive long-term growth and profitability Perform little to no direct selling , with the primary focus remaining on leadership and team performance What We're Looking For The strongest candidates will bring proven experience leading sales professionals and managing the financial performance of a territory, region, or business unit.

Ideal qualifications include:

Proven experience managing and developing a sales team Strong track record of holding sales representatives accountable to measurable goals Experience managing a large geographic territory Strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, expenses, margins, and profitability Ability to analyze sales and financial performance and identify areas requiring improvement Strong leadership, coaching, and performance-management skills Ability to balance revenue growth with expense control and profitability Comfortable working independently and managing teams across multiple locations Experience within heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles, transportation equipment, heavy equipment, or a related industry is highly desirable Why Consider This Opportunity?
