Job Description

Looking for Sales Rockstar! We are seeking an experienced individual to add to our staff. Are you currently working as a sales manager and ready to move up to a Director of Sales Position? If so send you your resume. Looking for somebody who loves people and can use sound judgment on what is good for hotel clientele when situations occur that need a decision. The position is responsible for upholding support for all hotel annual, quarterly, and monthly financial goals. Work within the primary and secondary markets to identify, prospect and close sales on a timely basis. Maintain existing clients and develop new sources of business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Performing all aspects of sales calls to book future business. Types of calls expected but not limited to: Cold calls, appointments, phone solicitation, on-site tours and inspections, trade shows and expos and e-mails. Developing sales blitzes and telemarketing blitzes. Developing and implementing a marketing plan. Establishing the sales budget in conjunction with the General Manager and other hotel management staff. Achieving Room sales goals. Compiling all Sales Reports on a weekly, monthly and as needed basis. Developing public relations and advertising campaigns. Booking negotiated corporate, extended stay and group reservations. Responding to all inquiries; written, email and phone. Joining and attending all pertinent associations that represent the property in the best possible way. Maintaining budgeted operating, sales and marketing costs. Creating packages and direct mail programs. Organizing budget and travel schedule for trade shows and meetings. Coordinating ongoing research of the travel industry to detecting market trends and related information for development of new marketing strategies. Developing and promoting hotel through frequent oral and written communication and or participation in business and community relations. Organizing and/or attending scheduled Sales Department and related meetings, by preparing material for weekly sales agenda. Reviewing present and future business and communicating information and changes to all departments. Participating in any Manager on Duty (MOD) program as assigned. Performing other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the General Manger or the Management Company.
