In this role, you will be the face of our company, managing the entire sales pipeline from initial client consultation to finalized contract. You will meet with clients on-site, design outdoor solutions, perform material takeoffs, and deliver accurate estimates for high-quality landscape and turf projects.
Core Responsibilities Client Consultations and Relationship Building:
Promptly respond to incoming leads and conduct initial phone screenings to qualify prospects. Meet with residential and commercial clients to understand their vision for hardscaping, irrigation, turf, and outdoor living spaces. Maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction, secure referrals, and generate repeat business.
Estimating & Takeoffs:
Perform precise job-site measurements, take photos, and evaluate existing grading, access, and drainage. Create designs to align sales proposals with actual construction requirements. Calculate material, equipment, and labor to create profitable, competitive proposals. Deliver dynamic, professional sales presentations that clearly articulate value, scope of work, and project timelines.
Pipeline Management:
Follow up consistently on open proposals and overcome client objections with clear solutions. Draft, review, and finalize construction contracts, scope-of-work documents, and change orders. Meet or exceed monthly and annual gross margin and revenue targets.
Project Hand-off:
Collaborate closely with our production and installation crews to ensure clear transition of project scope, timelines, and material details. Periodically visit active job sites to verify that construction matches the sold scope and assist with any necessary scope adjustments/change orders.
Market Growth:
Network with local builders, property managers, and vendors to generate net-new commercial and residential opportunities in the Middle Tennessee area.
Plan Reading:
Ability to read and interpret landscape architectural designs, site plans, and elevation drawings.
