Job Description

Riptide Car Wash is seeking a motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to lead sales performance across our Middle Tennessee locations. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and understands how to turn coaching, training, and accountability into measurable results. The District Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, developing, and supporting our sales teams while ensuring each location has the people, resources, and skills necessary to perform at a high level. Key Responsibilities Lead and support sales performance across multiple Riptide Car Wash locations throughout Middle Tennessee. Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard sales team members. Facilitate initial and ongoing sales training for new and existing employees. Spend significant time in the field working directly with employees and site leadership. Observe individual sales performance and identify employees who would benefit from additional coaching or training. Evaluate performance challenges, determine their underlying causes, and develop specific plans for improvement. Coach employees on customer engagement, communication, sales techniques, and membership conversion. Work alongside team members to demonstrate effective sales techniques and best practices. Identify high-performing employees and assist in their continued development and advancement. Monitor sales and conversion performance by location and identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with General Managers and District Managers to ensure sales expectations are clearly communicated and consistently executed. Provide support to locations experiencing staffing shortages, including assisting with recruiting and providing direct field support when necessary. Maintain consistent communication with site leadership regarding staffing, training, performance, and areas requiring additional attention. Help create and maintain a culture of energy, accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Qualifications and Characteristics Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong training and coaching abilities, including the ability to teach, demonstrate, observe, provide feedback, and follow up. Ability to identify individual development needs and determine the appropriate coaching or training approach. Comfortable providing direct, constructive feedback regarding performance and accountability. Ability to recruit and identify individuals with the personality, communication skills, and motivation necessary to succeed in a sales environment. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple locations, employees, and priorities. Willingness to travel regularly between Middle Tennessee locations. Willingness to work directly in the field and provide additional support when locations are short staffed. Results-oriented with a positive and professional leadership style. Measures of Success The District Sales Manager will be expected to maintain a strong understanding of sales performance throughout the assigned market, identify opportunities for improvement, and take an active role in developing solutions. Success in this position will be measured through continued improvement in membership growth, sales conversion, employee development, staffing effectiveness, training execution, and overall sales performance. The District Sales Manager should be able to identify the cause of performance challenges, establish an appropriate corrective strategy, and measure whether that strategy is producing the desired results. This is a field-focused leadership position that requires regular interaction with employees and managers at our locations. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the performance of the market and willing to work alongside the team when additional leadership, training, or staffing support is needed.

Pay:
$59,500.00 - $62,500.00 per year
