(AFTA) provides engineered flow-control solutions for demanding industrial applications. Our business focuses on high-performance valves and engineered components designed to meet specialized customer requirements. AFTA represents the GSR Ventiltechnik and Colson product lines, providing technically advanced solutions where standard commodity valves may not meet performance requirements. We focus on innovative, application-specific solutions and long-term customer relationships. Role Description We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager with a strong sales background and an engineering-minded approach to join Advanced Flow Technologies Americas. This position will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, and expanding sales within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have experience selling valves, valve components, flow-control products, or related industrial products and be comfortable understanding technical customer requirements. An engineering degree is not required; however, the successful candidate should have strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand how valve components are applied within industrial systems. This individual will work closely with customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and internal departments to identify the right solutions for customer applications.Compensation & Benefits Commission:
5% commission on sales generated within the assigned region during the first year. Following the first year, commission compensation will transition to the company's standard commission structure. Identify and develop new customers while expanding existing accounts. Sell valves, valve components, flow-control products, and related engineered solutions. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently pursue new opportunities. Understand customer applications and technical requirements to recommend appropriate products. Work with customers and internal engineering teams to develop solutions for specific applications. Review customer RFQs, specifications, drawings, and technical requirements. Develop relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, distributors, EPCs, system integrators, and end users. Identify opportunities where AFTA products can provide a technical or competitive advantage. Prepare and negotiate quotations while maintaining company pricing and margin objectives. Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in Oracle NetSuite CRM. Track opportunities, quotations, projects, and sales forecasts. Monitor market and competitive activity and identify opportunities for growth. Support distributor and channel development when applicable. Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Management. Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5+ years of industrial sales experience preferred. Experience selling valves, valve components, flow-control equipment, or related industrial products required. Proven success in business development and growing customer accounts. Strong technical aptitude and an engineering mindset. Ability to understand customer applications and translate technical requirements into product solutions. Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, purchasing teams, management, and customers. Experience working with OEMs, engineering firms, distributors, or industrial end users preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience with CRM systems preferred; Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus. Willingness to travel within the assigned region.Benefits:
