SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Department at Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, on-campus position as the Sales Center Director and Instructor of Marketing , beginning August 2026. Schreiner's Marketing program offers a major, leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and a minor in Marketing and integrates a strong liberal arts foundation with rigorous marketing field training and internships. This position will also serve as the inaugural Director of Schreiner University's Center for Sales Excellence. We seek an individual with an excellent and dynamic teaching style in marketing with significant sales experience, commitment to undergraduate education, and leadership potential to continue to develop and grow a center for excellence in sales. Education/Experience Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related field required. 3 or more years of experience in sales and customer service are required. Academic leadership experience is desirable. Leadership in sales and customer service is desirable.
Faculty Responsibilities:
Teach 9 credit hours per semester in Marketing courses such as Principles of Marketing, Professional Selling, Consultative Sales, Sales Management, and Sales Force Automation. Mentor students in undergraduate research , design competitions , and capstone projects . Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement aligned with program standards. Work closely with Schreiner University's Center for Talent and Workforce Development. Engage in service through committee work, academic advising, and community outreach.
Director Responsibilities:
Serve in a supervisory and coaching role in student sales competitions. Course and programming development for the center. Advisory Board management. Recruiting and managing sponsorships. Budgeting and personnel management
Preferred:
Ph.D. in Marketing or related field. Experience teaching and developing sales-related courses such as Professional Selling, Sales Management, Consultative Sales, and Sales Force Automation.
