Job Description

GENERAL Position Overview The Business Office Director is responsible for the administrative and financial operations of the Business Office, Registration and HIM Departments ensuring that daily activities run smoothly and that the hospital complies with regulatory standards. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education High School graduate or equivalent required with some college courses. Experience Five (5) or more years of previous hospital experience in all aspects of business office functions. Previous supervisory experience required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficient computer skills a must. Ability to work with physicians and others in a collaborative manner. Knowledge of accrediting organization and state regulations for both acute and skilled nursing facilities. Medical terminology utilized in medical billing. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Licensure/Certification OTHERS Personality / Interpersonal Skills Appreciation of and the desire to be part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care. Employment Type Fulltime
