Job Description
This leadership role is responsible for driving occupancy growth through relationship-based selling, strategic business development, and an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a motivated, energetic professional who thrives on building meaningful relationships, creating referral partnerships, and guiding families through one of the most important decisions of their lives. This individual is passionate about serving older adults, possesses outstanding closing skills, and has a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. Primary Responsibilities Sales Leadership Drive occupancy growth by executing strategic sales plans and consistently achieving census goals. Manage the entire sales process from lead generation through move-in, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every stage. Conduct professional, personalized community tours that effectively communicate the value of the community's lifestyle, services, and care. Maintain accurate forecasting, sales metrics, and lead management through the CRM system. Consistently follow up with prospects to maximize conversion opportunities and shorten the sales cycle. Business Development Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, rehabilitation facilities, home health agencies, case managers, senior service providers, and other referral partners. Identify new referral sources and cultivate long-term partnerships that generate qualified leads. Represent the community at networking events, professional organizations, health fairs, and community outreach opportunities. Analyze local market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth. Marketing & Community Engagement Plan and execute creative marketing initiatives, educational seminars, open houses, and community events designed to increase visibility and generate leads. Collaborate with community leadership to develop outreach strategies that strengthen the community's reputation within the local market. Assist in developing marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives that support occupancy goals. Customer Experience Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families throughout the decision-making process. Understand each family's unique needs and recommend personalized living solutions. Ensure a seamless transition from initial inquiry through move-in by partnering closely with operations and clinical leadership. Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining regular communication with prospects and families. Collaboration Work closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to ensure operational excellence supports sales success. Participate in occupancy planning, move-in coordination, and retention initiatives. Foster a collaborative team environment focused on delivering an outstanding resident experience. Qualifications Minimum of three years of successful sales, business development, or leasing experience, preferably within senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related service industries. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales goals. Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to develop referral networks and generate qualified leads. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. Highly organized with exceptional time management and follow-through. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for networking and business development activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in assisted living, memory care, independent living, healthcare, or senior housing sales. Established relationships within the local healthcare and senior services market. Experience planning marketing events and community outreach initiatives.
