We're redefining how people connect by combining play, style, and hospitality into one unforgettable atmosphere. At Puttery, every visit is a reason to celebrate. Job Purpose The Director of Event Sales is responsible for driving event revenue and expanding Puttery The Colony's presence throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market. This is an outreach with intention sales role. Success means more than responding to inbound inquiries. The Director is expected to actively create business by building a strong local network, developing their own book of business, reconnecting with past clients, prospecting new opportunities, and becoming a visible representative of Puttery throughout the community. From corporate outings and holiday parties to celebrations, social events, networking functions, and large-scale buyouts, this role connects people with an experience they will want to return to and recommend to others. The Director owns their sales goals, pipeline, relationships, and results.

Build relationships with local companies, event planners, executive assistants, HR and People teams, hotels, residential communities, professional organizations, chambers, destination partners, and other potential referral sources. Develop recurring and annual business by understanding clients' event calendars, company milestones, celebrations, meetings, and entertainment needs. Build referral networks that create introductions and opportunities beyond the initial sale. Maintain consistent follow-up throughout the sales cycle and after the event. Become a trusted local resource for clients planning events, not simply a point of contact for a single transaction. Own the Pipeline and the Number Take ownership of individual and venue event-sales goals and develop actionable strategies to achieve and exceed them. Maintain an active, healthy pipeline across prospecting, qualified opportunities, proposals, booked events, and future business. Consistently evaluate pipeline strength and identify where additional outreach is needed. Track outreach, conversion, booked revenue, repeat business, lost opportunities, and other key sales metrics. Identify opportunities to grow event value through thoughtful enhancements, upgrades, and additional experiences. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, business development, outside sales, venue sales, or a related revenue-generating role. Demonstrated success developing new business through proactive prospecting and relationship building. Experience managing a sales pipeline and working toward defined revenue goals. Ability and willingness to build business outside the four walls through networking, community involvement, client visits, and market outreach. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
