ICM Solutions , the leader in crushing, underground mining rebuild, and white paving equipment, service, and solutions across the Mountain West, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Utah. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals serving customers across the heavy equipment industry. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening customer relationships, and developing a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on coaching and field support. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Parts, Service, Rental, Finance, and Marketing to deliver exceptional customer experiences and profitable business growth. What You'll Do Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth Lead a regional sales team to achieve and exceed revenue, margin, and market share objectives. Drive consistent sales execution through pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity planning. Partner with sales representatives to advance complex opportunities and secure key customer wins. Monitor business performance and implement strategies to maximize regional growth. Ensure accountability through regular performance reviews, coaching, and development conversations. Team Development & Coaching Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent. Provide ongoing coaching in sales strategy, customer engagement, negotiation, and product knowledge. Create individualized development plans that support professional growth and career progression. Lead onboarding efforts to ensure new team members quickly become productive contributors. Foster a culture focused on safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies, training requirements, and safe driving practices. Lead by example in maintaining operational integrity and professional standards. Customer & Market Development Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts. Support the sales team in managing customer escalations and resolving complex issues. Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and competitive threats within the region. Participate in customer visits, industry events, and strategic account meetings. Develop territory strategies that increase customer acquisition, retention, and market penetration. Business Planning & Operational Excellence Manage regional forecasting, budgeting, and sales performance planning. Ensure deal structures align with company pricing strategies and profitability objectives. Analyze regional performance trends and use data to drive informed business decisions. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve team productivity and customer outcomes. Maintain high standards for sales process execution and data integrity. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate closely with Parts, Service, Rental, Marketing, and Finance teams to support customer success. Champion initiatives that improve the customer experience across the entire equipment lifecycle. Communicate regional opportunities, risks, and resource needs to senior leadership. Serve as a trusted partner and leader across the organization.
Requirements:
Demonstrated success leading and developing sales teams. Strong understanding of consultative selling, territory management, and strategic account development. Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and performance metrics. Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable for results. Strong business acumen with the ability to balance revenue growth and profitability. Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Experience in the heavy equipment, construction equipment, industrial equipment, material handling, agriculture, or related industries preferred. Willingness to travel throughout the region and spend significant time in the field with customers and sales representatives. Why ICM Solutions?
