Today, we proudly operate 21 branch locations and 6 showrooms across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. We are seeking a driven, customer-focused Territory Sales Manager to develop and grow our contractor business throughout a territory in Northern Virginia. This position has uncapped commissions' earning potential. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building strong relationships, solving customer challenges, and growing market share. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically minded, and committed to providing exceptional service to HVAC and plumbing contractors. What You'll Do As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Regularly visit plumbing and HVAC contractors at their offices, shops, and job sites Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and consistent follow-through Collaborate with inside sales teams to prepare quotations and deliver solutions that meet customer needs Process and manage customer orders, including counter, delivery, special-order, and direct-ship requests Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory Promote strategic product lines and manufacturer programs Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers Work closely with vendor partners to support customer needs and drive sales growth Assist with customer returns, credits, and issue resolution Coordinate with the credit department regarding account management, collections, and credit limits Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and training opportunities Support branch operations and inside sales team members as needed Communicate market conditions, customer feedback, and growth opportunities to management What We're Looking For in Required Qualifications Associate Degree or better Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated, organized, and disciplined work style Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset Computer proficiency and familiarity with business software Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Team player who works well across departments Ability to learn technical products and industry applications Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in outside sales, wholesale distribution, plumbing, HVAC, construction, or a related industry Mechanical aptitude and technical understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems Experience working directly with contractors and tradespeople What We Offer We value our employees and provide a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Competitive salary and incentive opportunities based on experience and performance Medical and dental insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan Company-paid life insurance Paid holidays Paid time off (PTO) Mobile phone reimbursement Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Long-term career growth with a respected industry leader Additional Information Thos.
