POSITION OBJECTIVE POSITION OBJECTIVE

•Remote position - Must live in the Northeast Region. Frequent travel required.

• The Director of National Accounts is responsible for driving group revenue and group sales performance within the revenue organization of Half Moon. The role is responsible for cultivating and managing key customer relationships in the group market, maximizing overall revenue, and ensuring that production goals and client expectations are met. This includes the development and execution of tactical sales plans to increase group revenue, grow market share and enhance the reputation of Half Moon and Salamander Collection.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Direct Sales:

Achieve revenue targets and meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as established by the Director of Sales & Marketing. Develop and manage a Key Account list that addresses the current and future business needs of the Resort. Plan and execute sales calls and attend organized Sales Missions and Roadshows to develop new accounts, maintain, and close business. Collaborate with the Salamander Collection GSO Team and third-party partners to identify new opportunities, close business and achieve annual revenue goals. Schedule and coordinate regular visits to the Resort to conduct site inspections, attend FAM Trips, and strengthen relationships with the property team members. Serve as the Resort's regional group market liaison with key third-party partners including ALHI, TENEO, Preferred Hotels & Resorts, The Beyond Collection, HelmsBriscoe, Conference Direct and others. Conduct quarterly Key Account reviews with the Director of Sales & Marketing. Manage, lead and participate in any projects assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing. Grow market share and account acquisition based on the business needs of the Resort with specific emphasis on corporate, insurance and incentive segments in the group market. Actively pursue professional sales education and personal development opportunities. Demonstrates commitment to Salamander Collection operating principles and philosophies. Ability to effectively work independently in a remote environment.

Market and Business Intelligence:

Provide market research including situation analyses, market studies, feasibility studies, competitive analyses using both primary and secondary market research to benchmark the Resort's positioning, progress, and success in achieving established revenue targets. Maintain accurate and comprehensive competitive intelligence by developing cultivating business relationships with senior executives from other hotels, industry contacts, and key customers.

Budgetary Expectations:

Provide senior leadership with remedial actions as necessary to remain within acceptable budgetary standards. Manage cost center expenses efficiently and with integrity. Produce business and productivity reports as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years group sales experience working in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

REQUIREMENTS COMMUNICATION & PEOPLE SKILLS

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) Ability to work both as a team member and a team leader to achieve results in a collaborative environment. Displays leadership in customer relations. Maintains positive, healthy, and productive relationships with on-property team.

REASONING ABILITIES

Demonstrated ability to process new information quickly and respond aptly to change. Strong analytical skills. Regularly demonstrate the ability to make thoughtful, data-driven decisions.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must possess sufficient computer skills to use, in a proficient manner, all software programs used at the Company including, but not limited to, the following: Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams) Strong Knowledge of sales & catering and revenue management platforms (Delphi and IDeaS knowledge a plus)
