Drive Business Growth Develop and execute business development strategies that generate profitable growth. Identify and pursue new customers, markets, programs, and revenue opportunities. Expand Commercial Plastics' presence within existing accounts by identifying new products, divisions, facilities, and decision-makers. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with clear growth opportunities and action plans. Conduct market research and provide recommendations on growth opportunities and industry trends. Build Strategic Customer Relationships Develop executive-level relationships with prospective and existing customers. Lead customer meetings, facility tours, business reviews, and presentations. Serve as a trusted partner throughout the quoting, launch, and production process. Negotiate commercial agreements while balancing customer satisfaction and company profitability. Lead New Business Acquisition Drive RFQ strategy, opportunity qualification, and pursuit planning. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Program Management to develop competitive proposals and quotations. Evaluate opportunities for strategic fit, manufacturing capability, capacity, risk, and profitability. Lead commercial negotiations and successfully convert opportunities into awarded business. Lead Commercial Performance Establish sales growth objectives and key performance metrics. Monitor pipeline activity, forecasting accuracy, quote activity, and revenue opportunities. Ensure opportunities move efficiently through the sales process. Promote CRM discipline, accountability, and best practices across the commercial organization. Coach and support business development, sales, and account management team members. Collaborate Across the Organization Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management teams. Ensure new business opportunities are operationally achievable, strategically aligned, and profitable. Support successful product launches and customer transitions. Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and growth initiatives. Provide Strategic Leadership Present growth strategies, customer activity, pipeline performance, and market intelligence to executive leadership. Identify competitive threats, emerging technologies, and market opportunities. Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and business development activities. Foster collaboration and communication across all company locations. Manufacturing industry experience, preferably in plastics, injection molding, automotive, industrial, or consumer products. Proven success driving revenue growth and developing strategic customer relationships. Strong negotiation, presentation, financial acumen, and executive communication skills. Experience managing CRM systems and sales pipelines. Preferred Qualifications MBA or advanced business degree. Experience within a multi-site manufacturing organization. Experience with OEMs, Tier One suppliers, and complex strategic accounts. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement. Experience supporting operations in both the United States and Mexico. Travel Requirements This position requires approximately 50% travel to customer locations and Commercial Plastics facilities throughout: Wisconsin Illinois Minnesota Nebraska Monterrey, Mexico Candidates should be comfortable traveling regularly, visiting manufacturing facilities, attending customer meetings, participating in trade shows, and supporting business development activities. $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
