Job Description
Territory Sales Engineer :
We are seeking a Territory Sales Engineer to drive new business growth across an assigned U.S. territory. This role focuses on prospecting, distributor development, account acquisition, and expanding market share within industrial and material handling environments. What you'll do: Develop new business with distributors, integrators, OEMs, and end users Build and execute a territory growth plan with clear activity and pipeline goals Identify inactive or underperforming distributors and re-engage them Generate and manage quotes, follow-up activity, and pipeline through CRM Pursue direct sales opportunities while supporting channel growth Partner with inside support and engineering to move opportunities forward Travel within the territory for planned customer visits and business development meetings Maintain accurate CRM records on contacts, pipeline, and sales activity What we're looking for: Proven outside sales, territory sales, or business development experience Demonstrated success prospecting and closing new business Experience selling through distributors, OEMs, or industrial channels preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to explain technical products or solutions Strong follow-up habits, pipeline discipline, and CRM usage Experience in conveyors, power transmission, packaging, or material handling preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience preferred Compensation and benefits: Base salary from $90,000 plus uncapped commission 401(k) matching Cell phone reimbursement Medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and HSA benefits Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Relocation assistanceJob Type:
