Job Type:
Seasonal, with the possibility of becoming dual-seasonal if desired
Schedule:
Full time preferable, part time considered; Hours of MSS Operations are 9:00am-6:30pm Monday - Saturday and 9am-4pm on Sundays; generally the shift will start about 30 minutes before opening and end around mid-afternoon (4pm ish)
Rate:
$24 - 26 per hour; opportunity for bonus depending on financial performance of

Tom Brennan, Director, Mountain Sports School Description Snow King Mountain Resort is the iconic Mountain Resort located in the heart of beautiful Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As a dual seasonal facility, it is home to many summer and winter family friendly attractions. The Snow King Team is looking for people with a love for the outdoors, a desire to learn, and a commitment to excellent service. Job Description The Mountain Sports School Sales Manager will oversee key aspects of MSS business operations, including, but not limited to: sales, office procedures, customer service, staff scheduling, employee training on point of sale systems, fulfillment of transactions, assistance in product development, assistance to the ticketing supervisors/agents, overseeing the Central Reservations program and coordination with group reservations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of sales/ticketing office(s) and customer service to include daily interface with customers, sales staff and MSS Instructors Oversee customer service duties to include answering phones, returning phone messages, telephone systems management, general email correspondence of the school@snowkingmountain.com email and Mtnos inquiry correspondence Oversee the scheduling of MSS Sales staff Oversee the employee training on sales and point of sale systems' standard operating procedures as directed by the MSS Director Oversee fulfillment transactions to include accurate and timely accounting of billing within the point of sale systems, to be invoiced by by the Accounting department Coordinate sales and accounting with both group and 'unique' reservations - Coombs, Local Schools, Ski Clubs, Central Reservations etc. Work with (non-MSS) ticketing supervisors/agents to bridge a connection between Snow King's (2) different Sales departments Assist MSS Director / Manager in weekly payroll approval and auditing Assist MSS Director / Manager in product development based on the market; identify trends and improve opportunities to create new products that increase revenue Assist MSS Director / Manager in handling guest complaints and facilitate conflict resolution
Minimum Qualifications:
21 years of age or older Sales management experience Bachelor Degree preferred General knowledge of the ski industry highly preferred Successful completion of a background check Must be available to work holidays and weekends Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language (spoken and written) Fluency in the Spanish language is highly valued but not required Must have excellent guest service and communication skills Must work well in a team Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions Firm knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and browser applications
