We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Auburn Gameday Concessions Workers. As a crucial part of the game day experience, you will play a significant role in ensuring that Auburn University fans and visitors enjoy quality food and beverages during home football games.Responsibilities:
- Operate cash registers and handle Tiger card, Debit/Credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, following health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of concession stands, including food preparation areas, storage, and dining areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock concession items as necessary.
- Contribute to a positive work environment and team spirit, cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors, responding to inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and guidelines provided by the employer.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in fast-paced food service or customer service roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle Card transactions accurately and confidently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive interactions with customers and co-workers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is desirable.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate loads (up to 30 pounds) comfortably.
- May be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally.
