Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers and processes transactions accurately. Responsibilities Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to handle retail sales transactions with accuracy. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting golfers warmly and answering questions. Manage cash drawer handling, ensuring proper cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized checkout areas to enhance shop presentation. Support inventory management through stock replenishment. Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Apply basic math skills for processing payments, giving correct change, and completing sales reports accurately. Assist in cashier training or supervising experience as needed to ensure smooth checkout operations. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is a plus but not required. Proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations is a benefit but not required. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on friendly communication and positive attitude. Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining attention to detail is required. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required. Basic math skills for managing transactions efficiently and accurately balancing cash drawers is a necessity.
