Whether assisting with product demos or managing the cash drawer, your contributions will be essential to our store's success. Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Handle cash register operations including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and issuing receipts Deliver friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and providing product information Assist customers with products and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising to answer customer inquiries confidently Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a clean, inviting store environment Practice excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or retail stores Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Excellent communication skills to engage customers and collaborate with team members Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership growth within the store Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management enhances performance Join us as a Cashier and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while building your career in retail!
