Job Description We are hiring dependable and customer-focused Cashiers for our convenience store, gas station, smoke shop, and liquor store locations in Montgomery, Selma, and Greenville, Alabama. This position is best for someone who is local to the store location, has reliable transportation, and is flexible with working different shifts as needed. The cashier will help customers, operate the register, handle age-restricted sales responsibly, keep the store clean, stock products, and support daily store operations. We are looking for someone who is honest, dependable, fast-moving, and able to work independently. Since each shift may have one employee on duty, the right candidate must be able to manage customers, stocking, cleaning, and store tasks in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, card, EBT, lottery, and other transactions accurately
• Check IDs for alcohol, tobacco, vape, and other age-restricted products as required by law
• Keep the front counter, register area, and customer areas clean and organized
• Stock cigarettes, tobacco, vapes, cigars, liquor, beer, wine, drinks, snacks, and other store products
• Refill coolers, ice, fountain drink cups, coffee supplies, slushy cups, and other daily-use items
• Assist with gas pump issues and customer questions
• Keep shelves, coolers, liquor aisles, and displays faced and fully stocked
• Check for out-of-date or damaged products and report them to management
• Receive and help check vendor deliveries when needed
• Maintain clean restrooms, floors, counters, and outside areas
• Follow all store policies for cash handling, safety, alcohol, tobacco, and customer service
• Report low inventory, maintenance issues, customer issues, or safety concerns to management
• Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and stocking checklists during the shift
• Send pictures of completed work when requested by management Requirements
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work assigned shifts
• Local to the store location or able to reliably commute to work
• Flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable handling cash and using a register
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift and stock cases of drinks, beer, and store products
• Able to follow instructions and complete daily task checklists
• Meets all legal requirements for handling alcohol, tobacco, vape, and age-restricted product sales Preferred Experience
