Cashier Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage transactions with the stores guests efficiently and accurately. A cashier we would like to employ must be able to interact with our guests in a friendly/kind manner. You must also be able to follow instructions and listen to what is expected of you. Previous experience is an advantage but not a must. Solis math skills and multitasking skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

Place orders for customers in-person and over the phone; Upsell and maintain knowledge of menu items and descriptions along with any daily specials or promotions. Accurately process cash, credit/debit card, and gift card transactions. Answer questions promptly and make menu recommendations. Read back all orders making sure customer is satisfied with order before sending back to kitchen. Verify all food and checking all orders before giving the order to the customer. Maintain a clean work space; Make sure Front of House is always clean and stocked. Receive and handle complaints from customers. Maintain a professional and presentable appearance according to companies uniform standards Leave customer with a positive, long-lasting impression of their Mighty Crab experience.

Key Skills/Abilities:

Computer literate and comfortable using computerized register (POS) systems. Possess great cash handling skills Professional, polite, patient, and reliable even when under pressure. Must be honest. Must be able to take accountability Must have excellent people skills. Eager to learn.
